Thank you for your interest in supporting Jefferson County Literacy Council. The JCLC programs create opportunities and enable adults to learn important skills, such as reading to children, applying for a new job, or improving their performance at a current job. Your dollars will help change our communities by providing instructional services to adults and families throughout Jefferson County.

While JCLC has some regular funding sources, none are guaranteed, and each year brings a new time to raise dollars and support through individual and corporate donations, sponsorship, competitive grants, contracts and fundraisers.

Any general donation to support JCLC in any amount is welcome OR choose a program to support:

​

• Adult Basic Skills for an adult in reading, writing, or math to ready for completion of their GED at the technical college

• English Language Learning for an immigrant learning English

• U.S. Citizenship for an immigrant completing the naturalization process
