Projects and Fundraising

  • Serve on a planning committee.

  • Volunteer at a fundraising event.

Board of Directors

  • Policy arm of JCLC. 

  • Ten meetings per year on the third Wednesday of the month, 1:30pm.

  • Two to three more committee meetings and fundraising events.

Tutoring

We are always looking for new volunteer tutors to share their time and to experience the joy of teaching and learning with us! We ask for one-and-a-half to two-and-a-half hours of your time each week. You can become a tutor and change two lives - an adult learner's and your own! Training, curriculum and materials provided. JCLC provides small group instruction and one-on-one tutoring for U.S. Citizenship, English as a Second Language, basic skills (reading, writing & math), GED preparation and basic computer skills.
